COMMUNITY OUTREACH

All of our events and programs aim to provide ovarian cancer awareness and education to the community

T.E.A.L.® prints over 30,000 pieces of educational material, such as awareness cards with signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer, that have also been translated into many languages. These materials are distributed throughout various communities in the U.S. (businesses, schools, doctors’ offices, community centers, & more)

T.E.A.L.® participates in over at least 50 health fairs, symposiums, and lectures at schools, universities, community centers and hospitals annually to provide information about ovarian cancer and educate communities about this important women’s health issue

PUBLIC AWARENESS CAMPAIGN

September is National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. During this month, we organize a vigorous and dynamic awareness program around New York City and beyond.

Each September, T.E.A.L.® partners with local businesses and organizations to turn buildings and monuments teal, including Brooklyn Borough Hall, New York City Hall, The Coney Island Parachute Jump at Luna Park, and Greenwich Town Hall to spread awareness about ovarian cancer.
