During the pandemic I was doing charity runs and I met run coach Kai. In discussing how I could do even more and raise more money for other organizations, he connected me with T.E.A.L.®, whose message really resonates with me.
I have two goals for this marathon: my fundraising goal is to raise at least $5,000 for T.E.A.L.® and my running goal is to complete the marathon in under four hours.
What I love most about running is that it is a moving meditation that brings me closer to my environment and my community. It is also a physical and mental challenge.
If I had the power to make a difference in one thing related to ovarian cancer, I would like to see more preventative measures for ovarian cancer, and for those services to be easily accessible and affordable for all women.
I feel honored to represent T.E.A.L.® and I look forward to my small part in helping every amazing lady. If we all put our energy and focus towards beating ovarian cancer, it is possible.
