Beast Masters LLC is a pet care company located in the West Village, New York City. The company was founded by Adam Romsdahl and Tyler Kent in January 2013. Both founders have always seen the importance of being involved in philanthropic ventures. While they participate in a multitude of charity projects, T.E.A.L® has been an organization they have grown to respect and pride themselves in affiliating the company with.
People are drawn to T.E.A.L.® for a number of reasons—whether directly or indirectly impacted by ovarian cancer. Beast Masters LLC began its mission to raise funds and awareness for ®T.E.A.L in 2013. Over the past few years, they have formed a team to participate in the T.E.A.L.® Walk/5K Run in Prospect Park and have volunteered behind the scenes to make sure everything runs smoothly. They require all Beast Master employees to wear, as a part of their uniform, T.E.A.L.® pins and wristbands in an attempt to initiate conversation and raise awareness. In addition to their volunteer work, they’ve organized three events to help raise money for T.E.A.L.®, including two happy hour auctions as well as the First Annual ®T.E.A.L. Soiree—their biggest success that raised over $16,000. The exclusive black-tie event was held on May 12, 2015 at 632 on Hudson, an event space that houses museum-like artifacts and a speakeasy. The venue, which happened to be the site of the tenth season of MTV’s Real World in 2000, was graciously donated by its owner Karen Lashinsky. All 125 tickets were sold, many to Beast Masters LLC clients, family, and friends.
Adam and Tyler are continually drawn to T.E.A.L.® as they can relate to the grassroots structure and its commitment to supporting local women and their families who have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. In addition, T.E.A.L.®’s focus on providing personalized care and support to survivors of ovarian cancer and their loved ones meshes closely with the philosophy of Beast Masters itself.
