My mother passed away in April of 2017 of ovarian cancer. I found T.E.A.L.® as a result of searching for ovarian cancer related organizations connected with the NYC half marathon. My goal is to run this race under 2:00 and in the process of training raise money for this wonderful organization to help create awareness of ovarian cancer. Early detection is vital, and that comes as a direct result of greater awareness and better screening. To everyone affected by ovarian cancer, know that you are not alone, and we will continue to fight right along with you!
